Love my new store!

Just launched my online store with Instamojo and I'm so happy with it! The builder was super intuitive and my products look great. I even got the Shipping Solutions set up easily. Will definitely use them again for more of my business needs!

Always a smooth experience

Used Instamojo again for setting up my new digital product store. This is my third time using their platform, and it was just as straightforward as the first. The eCommerce Website Builder is consistently easy to navigate. Everything went live without issues, just like my previous physical products store.

Good value for starter plan

I was looking for an affordable way to sell digital products. Instamojo's initial plan seemed like the best value. The transaction fees were reasonable, and I got a good deal on the annual premium subscription plan. It felt worth the cost for getting my first few products online without breaking the bank.

Decent platform for small business

I decided to move my service booking system to Instamojo. The onboarding process was mostly smooth, though connecting my custom domain took a little longer than expected, maybe an extra day or so. The Payment Gateway integrated well, and customers seem to find it easy to use. I also liked the Analytics Dashboard for tracking sales. Support was helpful when I had a question about bulk payment links. Overall, a solid choice for managing online services.

What's the deal with transaction fees? Are they super high or pretty standard compared to other gateways?

J June 3 months ago
They're pretty competitive, especially for smaller transactions. Not the absolute lowest, but definitely not gouging.

Depends on the payment method, but yeah, they're in line with what most other Indian payment gateways charge. Not bad at all.

Been trying to use a coupon code for a 'pro' plan but it keeps saying invalid. Any ideas why it's not working?

A Amber Z. 3 months ago
Make sure you're entering it at the right spot, usually on the checkout page just before you pay. Also, some codes are for specific plans only.

Could be expired, or maybe it's case-sensitive? I've had that happen before. Or sometimes it's for new users only.

Is the online store builder actually free, or is it like a trial thing then you gotta pay?

B Brett 3 months ago
The basic one is free to set up, but you'll pay transaction fees once you start selling. For more advanced stuff, like custom domains, you'd need a paid plan.

Free to get started, yeah. But you'll probably want a paid plan pretty quick if you're serious about sales, for all the extra features.

Do they support international payments? Want to sell some digital stuff to folks outside India.

J Jared Ito 3 months ago
Yeah, they do. I've had customers from the US and Europe pay through my Instamojo store, no issues.

Pretty sure they do. You might need to set it up in your dashboard though, I remember seeing options for it.

how does instamojo compare to shopify? like, for a small business just starting out, which one's better for online store stuff?

B Ben Nguyen 3 months ago
Instamojo is way more focused on the Indian market and easier to get going without much tech knowledge. Shopify is more robust but also pricier and has a steeper learning curve.

Depends on your budget and ambition. Shopify has more features if you're planning huge scale, but Instamojo is cheaper and really good for smaller, local operations, especially with payment gateway stuff.
